About Bianca

Reigning over all things digital marketing, storytelling, creative directing, acting, creating and curating, Bianca, who also goes Queen B, is an amazing local influencer, community organizer, and co-founder of the Black Collective Media, the first published magazine for Black by Black folks in PEI. Her work has been featured in CBC, CBC East Coast, CBC being Black in Canada, The Buzz, Spin Time CBC Live radio, ByBlacks, CTV, and her content as an influencer has been featured in Narcity Canada.

Her experience working across mediums has afforded her the opportunity to be the creative director and creator of the web series T is for Té, which launched for Black History Month in 2022. As a brand ambassador, she’s worked alongside Discover Charlottetown, Discover Halifax, Welcome PEI, Cows Ice Cream, and her previous partnerships as influencer included Destination Toronto, Flair Airline, Charlottetown Airport and so many more.

Her experience with community management developed through her time managing socials for BIPOC USHR for more than a year and the Black Culture Society during Black History Month between 2021 and 2022. She was the digital marketing coordinator for Jems Boutique where she also held the position as creative director for the first P.E.I Fashion Weekend in 2022.

A huge moment in her career was when she was chosen by Black Women Film to participate in the 2022 Toronto International Film Festival with 15 other Black women creators and filmmakers across Canada. As a result of her impact and passion for social media and community during her time at TIFF, she was promoted earlier in 2023 to the position of outreach and communications for Black Women Film Canada. Currently, she works as a Digital Marketing Specialist for the largest motorcycle and powersport shows in Canada.

In 2023 she wrapped up her position as the coordinator and curator for an exhibition in the Confederation Centre of the Arts that opened on January 28th-April 30th to celebrate BIPOC athletes in the East Coast.
